Enjoy This Great Weather!
I hope you are enjoying the weather. Just a week ago today, Shannon and I drove out to Canton, Ohio to attend my Aunt Margaret’s funeral. Temperatures were in the teens and snow was on the ground. My Aunt Margaret was a great woman of God who truly lived and left a legacy. I have been truly blessed by her life. She will be missed.
We have narrowed our Burrton Campus Pastor position down to three candidates. Please pray for our search team as we interview those candidates tomorrow night via FaceTime and Skype.
Keep our youth intern, Colton Watkins, in prayer as he heads out this morning for Basic Training. He will be back with us early in June.
You can sign up this Sunday for one of two great Connection Groups. We have spots open in Total Money Makeover (taught by Tina and Larry Schmidt) and Parenting with Love and Logic (taught by Tim and Gail Kirtley).
Reminder to women who have registered for “Women of Steel:” plan to check in at the Meridian Center at 9:15 NEXT Saturday (February 27) and bring a silent auction item, along with your Bible. Sharon Vermillion is our speaker and Mona Heinze’s family is leading worship. The day will be full of fun until 2pm.
Plan to bring a dessert to auction this Sunday! Spaghetti, salad and garlic bread will be provided, so even if you don’t bring a dessert, come and enjoy lunch. Donations for lunch and the auction will support the youth mission trip this summer.
Our next Senior Luncheon will be Saturday, April 9 at 11:30. Sign-up sheets will be available the next few Sundays, so mark your calendar and invite your friends for free homemade lunch, traditional hymns and a speaker.
Please send me your prayer requests (email@example.com). Have a GREAT week!
