Our Prayers Are with Belgium
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of those affected by the terrible attacks that took place two days ago in Belgium. This world, manipulated by Satan, is full of people who are anti-God and desire to hurt and kill others. If we dwell on these events and live in fear, our joy will continue to dissipate. That’s why it’s so important to keep our eyes on Jesus and anticipate His coming.
Join us this weekend, as we remember and celebrate the death and resurrection of our Savior, Jesus. On Good Friday, our service will begin at 7:00pm. On Saturday, we will have an Easter service at our Burrton campus starting at 6:00pm. On Sunday, in Newton, we will have two services: 9:00am and 10:45am. Nursery and Children’s Church will be available at both services.
The deadline to sign-up for the women’s breakfast, “Getting to Know You” will be in two weeks (April 10), so women check your calendar and invite your friends and neighbors! You will meet in Fellowship Hall on Saturday, April 16 from 9-10:30. Breakfast is only $5 (due when you register for women 15 and older) and child care is provided, but we need you to pre-register. Sign-up sheets and details are at the Information Table.
Are you single (never married, divorced or widowed)? If so, mark your calendar for April 23. We will have a free brunch from 11-12:30 in Fellowship Hall to discuss ideas for this important ministry. Sign-up sheets and details will be available NEXT week.
If you know someone who needs some house maintenance and doesn’t attend a church, please email me and let me know. My email is: firstname.lastname@example.org
Can’t wait to see you this weekend!
