A Busy Weekend Coming Up

Well, I must admit that I am a little tired this morning. I had a vested interest in the outcome of yesterday’s election and stayed up really late last night. Weeks before last night’s election, my brother, Chad, was contacted by the Trump transition team to serve somewhere on his team. No specific details yet but my brother has indicated that he would accept the nomination. Very exciting!

Reminder for women who signed up for the women’s breakfast: The breakfast will be from 9-10:30am this Saturday. Please use the south doors.

Also, the Annual Hayrack Ride is THIS Saturday (November 12) at 5pm at the Kirtley Farm. Hotdogs and s’mores are provided. All you need to bring is a side, your favorite hotdog stick and maybe a chair. Tim & Gail’s address is 2611 SE 84th St. Gail can answer your questions (tgkirtley@cox.net).

We have a VERY busy weekend at FBC! Sunday after worship is our next Fellowship Dinner and Business Meeting in Fellowship Hall. The main dish, potatoes and bread are provided. Please bring a salad or dessert to share. You can deliver it to the church kitchen before worship. The meeting will be brief and will focus on approving the 2017 budget.

We will be having a baptism on Sunday, December 4th. If you are interested, please contact me (chip@livingalegacy.church) to set up a time to meet.

I can’t wait to see you on Sunday! I will be presenting part four in our series, The Biggest BUTS in the Bible.
